Experience automotive innovation at the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers(GACS) Expo 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany!
ALMA, a participant at the expo, will be presenting its lightweighting materials and technologies that aim to reduce the environmental impact of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) throughout their lifecycle. Pursuing this objective requires close collaboration with like-minded organisations having interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise to drive systems change. For this purpose, nine European organisations from four different EU countries (France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain) are collaborating to turn this ambition into reality.
What sets ALMA apart is its holistic approach to sustainability. By integrating considerations of recyclability early in the design phase and addressing end-of-life solutions, ALMA is actively supporting the automotive industry to transition from a linear model (take-make-use-dispose) to a circular model (reduce, re-use, recycle), in which waste is designed out. This means re-envisioning supply chains of the future, a major thematic area at the GACS Expo 2023.

The automotive exhibition, therefore, serves as the ideal platform to showcase ALMA’s new technologies, innovations and manufacturing methods to create lightweight, sustainable and efficient battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
